Echotopia's Diane Wittner has a background in education, community arts & creative advocacy. Diane has a reverence for all life & her humble pollinator garden is also a bird & butterfly sanctuary. She began Echotopia R&D, because she was ready to dive deeper into teaching and advocacy, to be the change doing business for good: building the circular, local living economy for future generations. She chose practical home products she could make herself with her garden's generous resources. In 2012, she learned about starting a business in an evening course at Maryland Women's Business Center. Echotopia opened its Baltimore market stall & zero waste refill station operations in June 2015.
